From below remove the two black headed philips screws under the fog light location pull the black plastic inner fender liner toward the tire. Watch for the two spring screw clips they may fall off put them back on. now you can see the back of the fog light assembly either the bulb is visiable or the black plastic cover needs to be turned to the left then remove the bulb. do not touch the glass of the new bulb. Skin oils will shorten the life of the new bulb.

How do I get to my dash light?
I have a 98' Saturn SC2, my fog lights, tail lights and dash lights were all out, so I changed the fuse and they all work but my dash lights. So I was wondering how do I get in there to change the light so that my car will pass the safety inspection?

Check for another blown fuse.

I just bought a 1994 chrysler lhs and I have no high beams and no fog lights.?
I cannot imagine that four bulbs could be out in this thing and nobody bothered to change them so I figure it may be something deeper, also the high beam indicator on the switch does not come on when I pull it so I wonder if the switch would cause it or if it would be something else. I checked the fuse and yes that is ok.

you may have a bad multi-function switch. the one you use to activate your high beams.

multi function swith-almost bet on it
I must aggree with the others. Bad multi function switch. When u go to turn ur hig beams on, ur driving lights or fog light should cancel out. If this switch is bad then it may cause both systems to not work. The multi function switch is the turn signal handle on the left side of the steering wheel. Be careful messing with it yourself because if you have to remove the steering wheel you may set off the air bag. It aint pretty when one goes off in your face, not to mention the damage and expense it costs. have a pro do it

1996 Grand Prix flasher units, gauge, head and fog lights, and transmission...?
need to change flasher units for the signals and maybe the hazards...where are they?
also, i think a light in my instrument panel is blown, as the fuel gauge is much dimmer than the others in the dark...how hard is it to get at these bulbs?
...is there a way to decloud my head and fog lamps? i dont want to have to repolish them every 2 months...
finally, the transmission shifts very hard from 1-2, especially under heavy throttle. it pulls sharply to the left on the shift. is this just torque steer, or am i looking at replacing a halfshaft in a few thousand miles?
1996 Grand Prix flasher units, gauge, head and fog lights, and transmission...?
The flasher unit is located under the dash near the steering column. The turn signal flasher is circular . When i comes to the instrument panel being dim. There is multiple light bulbs in the panel. Remove the trim around the panel and then remove the screws holding the panel in. disconnect cannon plugs. Then you see the socket holding the bulbs in. !/4 turn counter clockwise and then remove , install new bulb and reinstall .Comes to the tranny have it power flushed it solves allot of problems. Headlight your local autoparts has what you need
1996 Grand Prix flasher units, gauge, head and fog lights, and transmission...?
the flasher unit is gunna be under the hood and a big black or gray unit.... the bulbs are really easy to get at autozone but a pain to have to put in most likely the whole dash has to come out to pt them in,,, the headlight issues would be better to replace them once they get water soaked or fog up the only way is to put some glue between the two surfaces.... less trouble to buy a set at a junk yard of not looking to pay brandnew prices....the tranny i would have to leave that to someone else that knows more about them... but to say id say that the pulling is deff torque steer and the tranny may need to be rebuilt... gud luck with that pontiac.....

1995 Mazda 929 head lights will not come on but when i pull back on the light switch the bright lights are on
I changed the bulbs and the relay , the relay clicks when i put it on all the other relays in the relay box clicks but my head light and fog light relays dont . WHAT COULD IT BE?
1995 Mazda 929 head lights will not come on but when i pull back on the light switch the bright lights are on
On most (if not all) cars that have the light switch on the turn stalk, if you pull the stalk to change to high beams, it completes the circuit, causing the lights to flash (even when they are off).
If the brights stay on after the stalk is released, but don't come on normally, I would try replacing the switch. It's not a job for the faint-hearted, so think about taking it to your mechanic. You might check to make sure you don't have a loose ground in the switch before you take it in, but more than likely your light/turn signal switch is toast.
1995 Mazda 929 head lights will not come on but when i pull back on the light switch the bright lights are on
There are two bulbs in the headlight globe - a highbeam and a lowbeam. The lowbeam is burned out.

Can the seats and lights be changed in our car?
we have just bought a Citroen Xsara Picasso lx8v 1.6 2005, we have now seen one but it is a Citroen Xsara Picasso Desire, the seats in this one have armrests as well as front fog lights and more, would i be able to put seats from the desire into the ours also the front fog lights, Thank you. uk
Can the seats and lights be changed in our car?
Yes the seats can be changed easily. There are bolts under the seats that you must take off and boom thats done. With the lights, if your bumper has fogs light holes in it then thats easy to get the wiring and put them in, but if not, you can try 1 of 2 things..
Cuts holes in the lower bumper and wire the lights or buy a bumper with the Fog light implants in them and put them in. Either way you will have to wire the Fog lights.

Fiat bravo fog lights not working?
hey, i got a fiat bravo and the front left fog light doesnt work, the right one and rear ones work fine...ive changed the bulb from halfords they said it isnt the bulb...ive even checked the fuses...still not working does anyone know if it could be an electical fault? if it is...does anyone have any ideas on how 2 fix it? thanks
Fiat bravo fog lights not working?
Get a multimeter and start tracing the wires back.
If you have 12v's getting to the bulb but no light then you have a bad earth.
If no 12v at bulb then trace it back to thru the loom to the relay/fusebox. I'd bet its a broken wire or bad connection.
Hope this helpsget your ex girlfriend back2 migrating existing portal

Help in Acura TSX fog light?
I m currently driving a 06 Acura Tsx. I m looking for fog light bulbs. I had changed the factory fog light to a (Halo H11 with 4500K xenon plasma blue 12V100W). It worked out fine, until the bulb burnt out.
Now, i m looking for a new one. But i have a question about that. Can i use other H11 bulb lights such as those with 5000k, 7500k, 8000k and 8500k?
Thank You.
Help in Acura TSX fog light?
it depnds if you got just a normal bulb or a HID setup in the fog. Most normal bulbs will burn out because the how the voltage runs from the car to the bulb, its slightly off and causes it to blow.
a more permanent solution would be to get a HID kit for the fogs, and run some luminx vinyl over the bolb cover and you will get a bright yellow glow out of the fogs, and they will actually be usable as fogs.
usually you want something more around 4300K like stock for good light output. any high and you are going into the ultra violet range, where its going to be no use to use, especially as a fog. Especially as fogs if you go bright white and blue their going to be totally useless. you want a more yellow color with the fogs.

how do i change the blown front fog light on my 2000 peugeot 406, lx they look tough to get to
How do i change the front fog lamp bulbs on my peugeot 406?
if it is the same as the 206 then you change the bulb from inside the wheel arch.
turn the wheels to full lock away from the bulb you are going to change.
there is a flap in the plastic arch cover pull it from the bottom and it hinges upwards.
you then turn the plastic cap on the back of the fog light and pull it off.
pull the wire off the bulb, squeeze the top of the wire clip and pull back.
the bulb can be pulled out of the fog light and the new one inserted.
fitting is the reverse,it should only take you 10-20 minutes max.
How do i change the front fog lamp bulbs on my peugeot 406?
have a look in the wheel arch there might be a nut you can undo.
If it's anything like a Citroen I used to have, you can't just change the bulbs; it's in a sealed unit.
You have to buy a complete foglight unit from the dealer. Specially designed to rip you off.
Don't bother it will save you blinding the oncoming traffic with them. However if you insist they are probably got at from behind the bumper so you will have to go under the car and unclip them. You may of course find that the lamp is removed rather like the headlamp and is held in by a clip.
Step 1: smash out the lenses of the fog lamps with a hammer
Step 2: replace blown bulbs

To turn on the head lights you turn the knob on your left once ?
I'm not sure, when i turn on my headlights, i can barely see, it looks really dim , but then a while back when my bf was driving my car it looked brighter. Am i turning on the lights right? How do you turn on fog lights, im thinking thats what im doing wrong? Or is it that my lights are going out and i need to change them?
To turn on the head lights you turn the knob on your left once ?
turn the knob all the way (twice). if you need your brights, turn the knob all the way %26amp; push the lever forward to lock it into position.
check the lights out at your local gas station, they aught to know %26amp; they will advise you

FIRST MAK ESURE YOUR WINDOWS ARE DOWN , AND CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH BLINKER FLUID ,
THEN TURN THE WHEELS TO THE LEFT WHILE YOU ARE GOING 75 IN A 25 , THEN SLAM ON THE BRAKES , IF YOU SEE A COP , RUN , RUN AND RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN , DO NOT LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE BODIES IN THE TRUCK , ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND YOU ARE IN A DARK SECLUDES AREA , THEN TWIST YOUR KNOB IF YOU CA N , THIS SHOULD DO THE TRICK OR TRICKS
This would depend on the year and make of the car. Most cars have a separate switch for the fog lights with an automatic shut off feature that turns the fog lights off when you are using the bright lights. I would consult the operators manual and determine where the switch is for the fog lights and whether or not there is an override for this feature.
Depends on the vehicle. You may be running on the dome light! Other vehicles (older ones) you'd pull the knob out.
If the dimmer switch in on the steering wheel, be careful you don't get your legs tangled.
Start your car, and turn the light switch until it stops.
You should now see your lights on the surface in front of you--garage door, apt. wall--so pull back on the turn-signal lever, and see if you still have two lights.
Look around the dashboard for the driving light switch (usually a pictogram of lights with lines in frront of them), and turn them on to see if they work. If your brights are on, the lights will not work, so pull the turn signal stalk again to lower them.
If at any time you have one headlight, or the driving-lights (fog lights are yellow) don't work, then you have a bad bulb.
Take your car to the dealer, or have your bf do the work, because it may be more than changing a bulb, depending on the age and make of your car. Here's why:
Look at the headlights during the daytime with them off, and see if they look cloudy or wet inside. Unfortunately, the type with the %26quot;simple to change%26quot; bulb tends to get terminal %26quot;fog-up/wetness%26quot; after about five years, and has to be replaced. Thsi may be why the lights look dimmer.
If you haven't found a problem so far, get back in the car, and turn the key to the on position without starting it, then look at the volt gauge: it should always read above 11, and the closer to 14 the better.
Start the engine, and check the volt guage again: if it is 13-14, then it's a battery problem (1 or more dead cells). If it's below 13, then its an alternator problem.
I've dealt with all these problems. I've been where you are, and that's why this email is so long.
First, What kinda car is it? Second, In Oklahoma it's illegal to have fog lights on. Also, If you don't know how to turn them on don't drive.
reach into the glove box and pull out the owners manual it will explain about the functions of all the knobs and levers read it before you ever move your car.
Hi, on most european car,the left lever is used for firstly cornering--- up and down for right and left cornering),----and secondly for headlights, dim for middle position, forward for full--used for highway/dark areas and backward for intermitent full headlights(Like a Signal) .
Now the knob situated at the end of the left lever have position 0, meaning no corner lamps and no dim/fog lights. Position 1(Turning once), meaning you can have only corner lamps front and rear one(including your rear number plate) and fog lights if you switch on the fog light switch(Normally situated on the dash board). Then position 2(Turning knob twice), will englobe position 1 function and main headlights(Dim if lever is in the middle...full if lever is pushed forward...and intermitent full if lever is pulled backward and released).
Now if you have switched on your headlights by turning the knob on your left twice, and that you are on idle speed or engine stopped, the light intensity will not be the same as when you are accelerating above 1000 rpm. Now, it is always advised to start the engine and then to switch on the headlights just to avoid draining energy from your battery uselessly.
If you have followed the steps and do not see any headlights or fog lights, this means that you must have either blow fuses, or bad relays...Now is everything lights and you are still not satisfied with your headlights, either take your car to an electrician for a general check on the state of your wiring and state of the headlights reflectors...and if everything is ok ,you can use special headlights bulbs(Xenox type) for better night vision.

How to change the fog light on Mercedes Benz ml430 year 2001?
you need to go under the car there are two screws that hold the bulb and the plastic holder. after that you should be able to disconnect the bulb from the housing. The screws were philips if i remember right also the book at the parts store was wrong so i had to go back i think they use a h1 or h4 i cant remember and it was not easy the first time i literally had to lift the vehicle of the ground with ramps so i had enough room to see what i was doing. There might be an easier way...
