How do I change the fog light bulb on a 1996 Saab 900 S?

I cant figure out how to get the back cover off of the light. I havent completely removed the light from the car, but I can get to the back of it by removing the air breather box but I cant seem to figure out how to remove the black back cap from the light itself.

I am having the same problem. Typically, when I have issues, I go to www.thesaabsite.com and often find solutions. Today (24 DEC) I tried changing driver-side Fog light - it's not an easy task. The passenger may actually be easier, although it does have more screws. The grill does not require removal, but the turn-signal assembly has to. There are 2 screws directly under (beneath the bumper), but there is a third also. Soon as the weather breaks, I'll go ahead and remove a small portion of the under-bumper cover and give it another try. Sounds a bit high, but it appears to be the variable average rate. Audi A6 2001 Fog Lights, rear and front, replacing?

OK First of all I have a question I wanted to change the light bulb for the front fog lights on the bumper for my Audi A6, BUT what kind of bulb is it it looks huge when i took it off? Also The rear fog lights are under a carbon fiber plate near the license plate how do I remove it theirs no screws or any thing at all?

OK, this is tricky. You cannot get to the rear fog light (singular) from the outside. You must open the rear deck lid and remove the soft liner. The 2001 A6 is pecular in that in the US only the left lens is activated and in EU the right is activated. In model years 2002 and later they smartened up and both lenses are activated.

To remove the liner panel there are two sets of two screw pins. The first are obvious to find. The second set is behind the road hazard triangle. Take out this accessory to expose the second set of fasteners. After removing these the panel should snap out exposing the wiring harness and lamp assembly. Twist to remove from the housing and you now have access to replacing the lamp.

Change bulbs on 2004 Corolla S OEM fog lights?

I have an '04 Corolla S with the type H3 fog lamps installed (standard). I can crawl under and twist the back off as you would a headlight, but it has a wire attached to the bulb (this type of bulb doesn't come out with the twist off connector). I can't see up there, but can feel around. Does anyone know how to remove the bulb attached to the fog light or how to pop out the entire fog light?

Hello Rice Burner lol I had that same problem it has a spring clip in it on a hinge. You don't need to remove it just squeeze it and, it will act like a door and open so you can pull the bulb out. Take care and Happy Driving...Rob

if it is the whole light assembly, usually there are just a couple of screws that hold the assembly in. if it just a bulb, then there should be a section that pulls out from the rear of the assembly to replace the bulb.

In 1997 they did not make a Montana they made the Trans Sport and if this is what to have they you will need to remove the (2) nuts from behind the bumper and pull the light out forward...and remove the lower splash shield as well.
