in the owners manual DIY section 8 page 26 there is a plastic piece that pops off and under that two philips bolts then two pegs on the other side pull it out the front turn it over unplug the wires and replace the bulb under the spring clip easy about ten minutes where there is light.

I don't know, but I recommend you buy a maintenance book for your car. My son bought one for his Jeep Cherokee and it changed his life and his pocket, because he did a lot of things impossible before.
I was looking for one book for my Nissan Xterra, but there are just for Pathfinder.
And you will save a lot of money avoiding Nissan's Techs..

on the bottom side of the car under the fog light area there will be an inspection cover. it is held in place by two plastic trim clips. they will have what looks like a philips head on the screw. remove both of these then pull out the retainer (they are set up like a dry wall anchor). pull back the cover and unplug the bulb. twist the bulb counter clock wise to remove. install in reverse order.creating file does any ram fit on my computer

To get to the fog light bulbs, you will need to access the rear of the fog lights from within the front fender wells.
The inner liner is held in place by screws and is secured in place by some notched sections that are held in place on the inner fender. You will require to remove most of the screws up until 3/4 of way. If you are facing your fender, much like a watch, you will require to remove screws beginning at 08:00 o'clock until 14:00, this will allow the front fender housing to drop down and out of the way hence giving you access to the rear of the fog light.
Like most fog lights, they are of a screw left (or right, don't remember) and off they come.

I cant figure out how to get the back cover off of the light. I havent completely removed the light from the car, but I can get to the back of it by removing the air breather box but I cant seem to figure out how to remove the black back cap from the light itself.

I am having the same problem. Typically, when I have issues, I go to www.thesaabsite.com and often find solutions. Today (24 DEC) I tried changing driver-side Fog light - it's not an easy task. The passenger may actually be easier, although it does have more screws. The grill does not require removal, but the turn-signal assembly has to. There are 2 screws directly under (beneath the bumper), but there is a third also. Soon as the weather breaks, I'll go ahead and remove a small portion of the under-bumper cover and give it another try. Go here: http://www.thesaabsite.com/93/93foglightreplacement.htm ... and read more. I imagine that the rates I have seen for a complete replacement of the FOG light ranged from $130-$176. Sounds a bit high, but it appears to be the variable average rate.
