how do you change a fog light on a renault clio r reg 1997. the old fog light broke and need to replace it |||You probably don%26#039;t have to take the wheel off. Put the steering on full lock one way or the other, undo the torx screws holding the plastic wheelarch liner in (just the front ones) then flex the wheelarch liner out of the way. This usually gives enough access to the back of the foglight to change the bulb. The back cover of the foglight should undo anti clockwise, then replace bulb and reassemble. Remember, don%26#039;t touch the glass when you handle the bulb as this can cause premature failure. Good Luck!!!|||do you have a manual with the car

I want to add fog lights to my car and i want them to be very yellow. I saw some Projector Fog Lights at autozone for like $40 and iam thinking of buying those and changing the bulb to the yellow ones(i found on ebay). Anybody know how to change driving lights (or fog lights) on a 2001 Pontiac Montana?
I have the same vehicle and have never been able to figure out how to even turn the lights off at all. They are always on. How do I change my 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 fog lights?
I%26#039;ve already got the replacement part (the whole assembly, not just a bulb), but I can%26#039;t figure out how to get the old piece out to get the new one in. The whole things seems to be encased in the vehicle. I%26#039;ve looked from the bottom and as much as I can from the top (under the hood) and I can see a wingnut type screw that I could probably loosen. But will this allow me to pull the light assemble out through the front so that I will be able to reconnect the wires to the new one?

If I were to go get and oil change at any auto shop, and asked if they can replace my fog lights with the bulbs I%26#039;ve already purchased from somewhere else. Would they charge me extra or does it count towards the labor charge they already charge you?|||If you take the car to a repair shop to have the fog lights replaced, they will charge for the labor off putting the fog lights in. So yes it will be extra. Not sure what type of car you have but replacing the fog lights bulbs is easy.

pop the hood. take off the back plastic piece(s) from behind the headlight. it%26#039;s usually just a wing nut, phillips-head screw, or even just plastic clips. be careful to pull it off slow, but more careful putting it back in slowly with the new bulb. and don%26#039;t touch the bulbs with your bare hands, because oil from hands is bad for the lights, and might shorten the life.

the car ahead perfectly clearly. Rear fog lights only dazzle the driver behind and reduce the change in light when the driver in front uses the brakes. Do you agree that they should not be used unless in VERY THICK fog.|||The laws about the use of fog lamps in the UK, in simple words rather than legalese, are:
Front fog lamps should only be used in conditions of adverse vision such as thick fog or falling snow (effectively when vision is less than 100m)
Rear fog lamps should only be used when vision is less than 100m
No lamps should be used in a manner that could dazzle or annoy other drivers.
I use the rule that if I can see the car behind (e.g the bonnet or grille) then its driver can see my car, so I%26#039;ll switch my rear fog lamp off even if it is foggy. Similarly, if I%26#039;m stopped at a red light, I%26#039;ll keep my foot on the brake to keep the brake lights on to warn approaching cars that I%26#039;m stopped, but take it off (handbrake applied) as soon as they get close and are obviously aware that I%26#039;m there and stationary. I use turn signals in a similar fashion - no need to keep them flashing in someone%26#039;s face if they%26#039;re already aware.|||Yes. there used to be a public information film on tv about it.|||I agree. Instructions on how to replace 2001 BMW 318i E46 rear Fog Lights?
I was wondering if anyone can give me detailed instructions on how to change the rear fog lights of my 2001 BMW 318i E46.
If you cannot explain in detail, instructions of how to remove the cover to access the bulb would be greatly appreciated. (I know how to change/access the brake lights etc but the fog lights are not together with this part)

Changing fog light bulb on 2003 sonata?
Should the bulb just pull out or do i have to remove screws. Its in a bad location cant really see it. Any help would be great|||There is a back cover - you need to unscrew it which is about a third of a turn and it comes out. Then a metal clip holds the bulb in. Thats it!

How do i change the fog lights in 2003 pontiac grand prix Gt?
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the front fog lamp nuts from the fog lamp.
Remove the fog lamp from the front bumper fascia.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp bulb/socket.
Remove the fog lamp bulb/socket from the fog lamp, turning counterclockwise, if required.
Installation Procedure
Install the fog lamp bulb/socket to the fog lamp, turning clockwise, if required.
Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamp bulb/socket.
Install the fog lamp to the front bumper fascia.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location.
Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Tighten
Tighten the front fog lamp nuts to 10 N路m (89 lb in).
Lower the vehicle.

Considering you haven;t changed it in 3 years, the bold is probably rusty and its going to be a pain to take out, put some WD 40 or some other bolt lube on it and let it sit for a little.

I have a 99 pontiac trans am ram air. One of the orange bottom fog light is out and the 2 headlights in the middle closest together. I dont know to much about halaogen ?? lights. I have a 2006 dodge charger and don%26#039;t wanna take it to the dealer just to change out a bulb in the fog lights|||The best way to do it is to take out a few of the push pins out of the bottom closeout panel and try to get to it from the bottom side. You should be able to get your hand in there by pulling down on the plastic after you have taken out the pins. The bulb should be turned counterclockwise and pulled straight out.
To remove the lens the dodge service info tells you to remove the upper closeout panel, headlight, and most of the front bumper fascia.

a) xenon lights to match the angel eyes
b) changing the foglight (bulbs) or the foglight assembly itself
I hope that you do not mean to put xenon HID%26#039;s on the foglight. While
I have seen it done, most do not last since the control modules, and
ignitors have to be placed near the foglight itself for obvious reasons,
and this location is so prone to road damage/bumper scrapes/etc.
Changing the foglight halogen bulbs or assembly can be done in 2 ways:
a) from the back of the lights, infront of the tire, remove the small
screws holding the fender liner/splashshields, then pull the liner
back a little to access the foglight, detach the wire/connector,
twist off the bulb and replace
b) or easier, at least for me, infront of the bumper, pry off the black
plastic trim/cover of the foglight, remove the single screw holding
the assembly, pull out, detach the wire connector, then replace
either the bulb or the whole assembly.
If you really want to install HID%26#039;s in your foglights, then there is no other way than to detach a sizable portion of the splash shield to be able to install the control module and ignitor in between the fender liner and the bumper.|||Can%26#039;t give you a picture but the bulbs are taken out of the back of the lamp.
