the 3.5 has them standard, but the 2.5 does not have punch outs for them, i keep finding fog lights with harnesses... but if my car doesnt have punch outs i dont see how i would be able to install them, do i have to change my whole bumper? or do the after markets somehow click over the bumper i currently have, or wtv! just please help please! thanks

from what i have heard and seen on the altima forums, there is a certain section of the bumper that is replaced to create an opening for the fog lights. if you go to your local dealership they would be able to order the fog light installation kit for you. i would also recommend checking www.courtesyparts.com because they have great prices for genuine nissan accessories

Only factory fog lights will function with the car's Body Control Module (BCM) and Intelligent Power Distribution Module, (IPDM) There is a fog light kit available it will come with another headlight turnsignal stalk with the rotary switch for fog lights also fog light bumper inserts. but if you aren't pre wired it can be a pain in the ***, if you are then its simple plug and play
no you don't have to change out your whole bumper... Just get OEM ones they fit perfectly in the brackets and will last longer then cheap ebay or aftermaket ones.

yes it is possible. if you look at your front bumper you can see two holes on the bottom left and right corner. they are covered by a plastic circle. thats where the fog lights would go if you had them. if you go to your dealer or where ever you service your can they can insert the fog lights into those holes. it would prob cost around $150 for the parts.
