Fog lights not working need help?

i have a 99 alero and only one fog light was working so i bought the other one . when i was changing it i must have short cicut the wires because the other turned of. I checked all the fuses and they are good. i also bought 2 new fog lights bulbs and they still did not work what else can i do or check?

always replace headlights and fog lights in pairs. make sure headlights are not in highbeam, fog lights wont go on with highbeams on. if that doesn't work need to make sure power is getting to lights if not might be a bad switch

you need a test light for this. check all the wires back an you will find the problem
